Gold Canyon- Barbara Lee Osborn, (84) of Gold Canyon, Arizona was born in Lima, OH, August 23, 1939 to Elroy Porter and Myrtle Lewis Porter. She attended Lima Senior High School (class of 1957) where she was active in clubs, cheerleading and crowned homecoming queen her senior year. She received her BA degree from Bowling Green State University with an Education degree. She eloped with David Charles Osborn, also from Lima, and the couple spent their first year together in Darmstadt Germany during his service in the US Army. Barbara received her real estate license and spent most of her career as a Sales Broker at Merrill Lynch in Mequon, Wisconsin. She earned the million-dollar club for many consecutive years. She loved golf, bridge, traveling, purchasing gifts, musical venues and maintaining an active social calendar with friends and family. Barbara and Dave were members of Gold Canyon United Methodist Church. Survivors are her two children Brett Eric Osborn and Allison Ann Gouris, son-in-law Thomas Gouris, grandchildren Aimee, Jade, Niko Gouris, sister-in-law Carolyn Schneider, brother-in-law David Humbert (Betty), nieces Kyle Clements (Paul), Kim Woodruff, Cindy Tellerd (Craig), Liz Osborn, nephew Jeff Humbert (Kathy), and step grand-children Carissa and Maizie Webb. She will be remembered as a loving and giving mother and friend with the most beautiful handwriting.
